We completed an acorn float test. We collected 146 acorns and placed them in a bucket of water. 141 floated, which means they won't germinate. Our helper, Nathan, scattered them outside for birds, squirrels and other creatures to eat. We picked sticks to see who would take home the 5 acorns that sank. Hoping for 5 oak trees! Fingers crossed! :)
