Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend! It's hard to believe that there are only 3 weeks of school left!
Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Library - Tuesday is our last library day of the year. Please make sure that all books are back on this day.
Homework/ Borrow-A-Book - The homework for the week is listed in the red folders. Our spelling words this week focus on question words and there are also a few more words with /ed/ endings. In You and Your World we are finding out about life cycles and how plants and animals grow and change. We have started talking about how people grow and change too. The students are asked to make a timeline poster to show how they have grown and changed over the years. The poster pages went home with the students on Friday. This will be their homework for the week. It is a good chance to talk with your child and tell them how they have grown over the years. If you have photos the students could use, this would be good. If not, the students can draw the pictures for each event. The timelines are due back on Friday June 7th. If you have them done before this date, please send them in. Make sure you read each night and record your book on the log sheet.
Sheree Fitch Visit - Our school won the Literacy Bedtime Reading Challenge and we will have a visit from author Sheree Fitch on Wednesday June 5th. If you would like to pre-order one of her books to have signed, please have your order in by Monday June 3rd.
Jump Rope For Heart - Our school Jump Day will be on Friday June 7th,
Have an awesome week!
