Code Club has started at Nelson Rural and we had a great turnout at our first after school Code Club last week! We are registered with Code Club Canada and this club will run for 6 weeks. We have started coding using Scratch and Microbits and students are collaborating together to help with eachother's creations!

The Elementary Soccer season ended with the district Jamboree on Friday, October 12. Team 1 came away with one tie and one win. Team 2, although defeated in all three games, had a great experience and played hard. All kids learned a lot and had fun. Thank you to all our volunteers and parents who chose to make this a positive experience for the students involved. Go Raiders!!!
