Orange Shirt Day

Posted: September 26, 2018

On Friday Sept. 28, 2018, schools across Canada will have their students wearing orange shirts as a symbol of the wrongs done to Aboriginal children and communities by the residential school system. As part of the provincial education 10 year plan, the province is committed to inform students of the history of the residential school system. We are asking students and staff to wear an orange shirt this Friday Sept. 28th, to honor the survivors of the Residential School System.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mr. Fitzpatrick at 627-4074.
