Hi Everyone!

I hope you had a fun weekend! The mornings are getting colder, so please make sure you are dressed for the weather.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday,

Library - Our library day is Wednesday. Please return your book in the library bag so you can sign out another one.

Terry Fox Walk - Our school will be holding the annual Terry Fox School Walk on Thursday September 29th at 1:00pm. Please bring $2.00 or a donation of your choice if you can.

Homework/Borrow-A-Book - This week we will be starting with our spelling words. The focus is on the short /a/ vowel sound. We will be working on them each day at school, please go over them each night as well. Students should be reading their book each night and recording it on the log sheet. Math homework is on repeating and increasing patterns. In writing we are focussing on writing good sentences that tell a whole idea and have good details. Make sure they begin and end properly.

Class Project With Texas - This year our class will be participating in a Collaborative Project with St. John's Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas. This is the 11th year that our two schools have been working together. We have already met our partner class and did our first weekly repot using Skype. Isabel, Tyler and Clare did a super job as the weather report, class news and poetry reading. We will be meeting with our friends weekly and doing lots of activities throughout the year. Right now we are working on our class letter of introduction.

Orange Shirt Day - Friday September 30th.

Have a fantastic week!
