Grade 2 News - October 30 - November 3

Posted: October 29, 2017

Hi Everyone!

I hope you had a fun weekend and enjoyed the nice weather! The students had a lot of fun at our Halloween costume parade on Friday!

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Library - Our library day is on Tuesday, make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.

Homework / Borrow-A-Book - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. This week is a review week for our spelling words, so there are 12. The word work is on blends and vowel sounds for Halloween words. In Math we are working on 2D shapes and place value. Please make sure that you are reading each night and record your book on the log sheet.

Class Project With Dallas, Texas - Quintin, Isabella and Grayson did a super job as the weather and class reporters and poetry reader when we did our weekly meeting on Thursday. We planted our tulip garden and our friends told us that they have to keep the tulips in the fridge to keep cold, because the ground is too hot. They won't be planting them until December! They mailed out our first letters. We can't wait to get them!

Black and Orange Day - Tuesday October 31st is Halloween Day, students are asked to wear black and orange.

Have a fun, safe and Happy Halloween!

Have an awesome week!
