Hi Everyone!

Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your family!

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Library - Our library day is on Wednesday. Make sure you bring your book back, so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Borrow-A-Book - The homework for the week is listed in the orange notebook. Our spelling words this week focus on the short /i/ vowel sound. In Math we are working on ordering and comparing numbers to 20 and counting forwards and backwards by 2s and 10s. We are working on the ideas trait in writing. Having a main idea and writing sentences with good details. Make sure when you write to begin and end your sentences the right way.

Class Project With Texas - We met with our friends in Ms. Sands class on Tuesday. Alissa, Katelyn and Lana did a great job as the weather and class reporters and poetry reader. We planted our tulip garden on Wednesday. This is one of the activities we are doing with the project. We will be comparing our garden to the one they plant in Texas and others around the world. We are also getting our class letter ready to send to them.

Have a wonderful week!
