Hi Everyone!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend and had fun! Our weather is changing, so please make sure you are dressed for the weather. It would be a good idea to keep hat and mitts in your bookbag so you have them.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Tuesday and Thursday.

Library - Our Library day is on Tuesday. Please make sure you bring your book back so that you can get another one.

Homework/Borrow-A-Book - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. Our spelling words this week focus on the short /i/ and /o/ vowel sounds. The word work is on the /ill/ word family and short /i/ and /o/ vowel sounds. In Math we are working on 3D shapes. We have started the organization trait, telling things in order. The writing activity is on organization. Please make sure that you are reading your book each night and record it on the log sheet.

Remembrance Day Service - Our School service will be held on Thursday November 9th at 10:00AM in the gym. Students are asked to bring in a donation for a poppy if they can.

No School - There is no school for students on Friday November 10th as it is a PLD for teachers. There is no school on Monday November 13th.

Class Project With Texas - We met with our friends on Thursday. Rileigh W., Quintin and Emma did a super job as the weather and class reporters and poetry reader. They told us that they really like our national anthem, so we are going to sing them for each other during one of our weekly reports. We are sending them our shared writing about Thanksgiving In Canada. They will be celebrating theirs on the last Thursday of this month.

Food Drive - Our school has started our annual food drive for the Food Bank. Students and staff are asked to bring in some food items if they can.

Have a wonderful week!
