Hi Everyone!

I hope you had a good weekend and got outside to enjoy the weather.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Library - Our library day is on Tuesday. Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Reading Program - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. Our spelling words this week focus on the /o/ and /e/ vowel sounds that say their own name in short words like we and so. Our word work activity is on blends and we have a writing activity using the organization trait. Tell how you get ready to play out in the snow. Remember to tell things in order and draw a picture to go with each one. In math we continue to work on mental math strategies to help with adding and subtracting. Doubles, making 10, 1 more, 1 less and adding and subtracting 0. This week we are working on word problems. Make sure that you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet.

Report Cards - First term reports will go home on Tuesday December 1st.

Parent Teacher Phone Interviews - Parent Teacher interviews will be done over the phone. A memo will be going home on Monday November 30th, for parents to choose the day and time that works best for them. Please fill out the form and return it to the school on Tuesday, so that interview times can be set up.

No School - There is no school for students on Friday December 4th. Parent Teacher Phone Interviews will be done in the morning. The afternoon is a PLD for teachers.

Christmas Dinner - If students would like to have the Christmas Dinner, Pre-Orders have to be in on Thursday December 3rd. The cost for students will be $4.00 and the school will pay the remaining $3.00 cost.

Have a great week!
