We are expecting some colder temperatures this week.   Pre - Order Christmas Dinner Our annual Christmas Dinner will be held on Wednesday December 9th. If students would like to have the dinner they are asked to pre-order by Wednesday December 2nd. The cost of the meal is $5.00. Book FairThe Home and School will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair in the library from November 30 - December 3rd. The times are as follows: Monday - Wednesday - 9:00 - 3:00                                                Wednesday - 5:00 - 7:00 PM - Family Night                                                Thursday - 9:00 - 12:00  Phys. Ed Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.     Library Our library day is on Friday. Please bring your book back so you can get another one.   Homework/Borrow-A-Book The homework for the week is listed in the blue folders. The spelling words this week focus on the long /a/ vowel sound. In Math we are working on representing or showing numbers in different ways. Our writing this week focuses on the organization writing trait and telling things in order. Please make sure you read each night and record your book on the log sheet.  Play With Your Food Art Show Our annual Play With Your Food Art Show was another success. The students did a wonderful job with their projects and the display was amazing! They are in the process now of writing a story about the character they made. Thank you to all parents for helping out with this project. Math We are doing more work with our unit on Numbers to 100.  This week we are focussing on representing or showing numbers in different ways and equal and unequal sets. It would be a good idea to keep working on counting in different ways and counting with money at home.  Class Project With Texas Our friends were off last week, as they celebrated Thanksgiving, so we did not have our weekly report. We will reconnect this week.   Food Bank Our school is still collecting items for the Food Bank. Please help us out if you can and bring in some items.   Have an awesome week!
