Hi Everyone!
- I hope you had a good weekend !
- Please make sure you are dressed for the weather.
Phys. Ed
- Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Library
- Our library day is on Tuesday. Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another book.
Homework/Reading
- The homework for the week is listed in the orange homework books.
- Spelling words for the week focuses on the /ar/ vowel sounds.
- We will be working on them at school and sending them home to work on for homework.
- We will do a test on the words on Thursday.
- Please continue with our sight word sheets. Remember to have the Homework Helper sign both sides of the sheet when you know all the words.
- The word work activity focuses on the /ar/ vowel sounds, which is the focus of our spelling words. Read the story and then circle all the /ar/ words you read. Write them in the boxes below. Pick 1 word and write a sentence for it. Make sure your sentence begins and ends properly and has good details.
- In Math we are continuing to use our strategies to help with adding and subtracting. Word Problems – Use the strategies we have been working on to solve the subtraction math problems.
- Choose one book from the reading bag to read each night. Use your strategies to help with the reading and record your book on the log sheet.
Report Cards
- Report Cards will be going home with students on Thursday December 1st.
Christmas Meal
- If your child would like the Christmas Meal, pre-orders are due on Thursday December 1st.
- The cost of the meal is $7.50.
- The meal is a ham dinner, potatoes, veggies, dessert, and milk.
- The Christmas meal will be on Tuesday December 6th.
No School
- There is no school for students on Friday December 2nd.
- It is a Professional Learning day for teachers.
Water Bottles
- Just a reminder to bring in a water bottle that you can refill and use throughout the day.
