Hi Everyone!

I hope you enjoyed your long weekend and got out to enjoy the beautiful day we had on Sunday!

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Library - Our Library Day is on Wednesday. Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Borrow-A-Book - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. Our spelling words this week focus on compound words. In Math we are working on adding 10s and 2 digit numbers. Please keep working on your facts and strategies at home. When you are doing the reading comprehension story, make sure you read carefully and use the strategies we have been working on. It is very important that you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet.

Collaborative Project with Dallas, Texas - We met with our friends in Ms. Sands class on Wednesday. Eria, Novalee, Katelyn and Evan did a great job as the weather and class reporters and poetry reader. We are starting our last letters to them and working on our class book. Our title is: If You Give A Robin Some Raspberries.

You and Your World/Life Cycles - We will be getting our caterpillars this week, that will allow the students to observe the life cycle of a butterfly. This is a great opportunity to observe each satge as it happens. The students will be observing and recording their observations.

Have a fabulous week!
