Hi Everyone!

• Welcome Back Spring!!
• I  hope you had a good weekend!
• Please make sure you are dressed for the weather.  
• It would be a good idea to have an extra pair of mittens and socks in your backpack.

Phys. Ed

• Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday,  Tuesday, and Thursday.

Library

• Our library day is on Tuesday.
• Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Reading

• The homework for the week is listed in the orange homework books.
• Spelling words for the week focuses on 2-part (syllable) words and /er/ endings.
• We will be working on them at school and sending them home to work on for homework.
• We will do a test on the words on Thursday.
• Please continue with our sight word sheets. Remember to have the Homework Helper sign the list when you know all the words.
• The word work activity focuses on our spelling words. Read each sentence and circle the word that is missing. Pick two of the underlined words and write a sentence for each one. Make sure to add good details and begin and end your sentence the right way.
• In Math we are using a calendar, estimation, counting  and showing numbers in different ways.
• Choose one book from the reading bag to read each night. Use your strategies to help with the reading and record your book on the log sheet.

No School

• There is no school for students on Friday March 24^th, as it is a Professional Learning Day for teachers.

Fundraising Campaign – NUMER-ACTION

• Just a reminder that all fundraising pledge money was due back on Thursday March 2^nd.
• If you still have money out, please do your best to get it in this week.

Water Bottles

• Just a reminder to bring in a water bottle that you can refill and use throughout the day.
