Hi Everyone!
- Welcome Back!!
- I hope you had a good weekend!
- We are into the month of June and our last month of school!
Phys. Ed
- Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Library
- Our library day is on Tuesday.
- Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.
Homework/Reading
- The homework for the week is listed in the orange homework books.
- Spelling words for the week focus on /ight/ words. /igh/ says the vowel sound /i/.
- We will be working on them at school and sending them home to work on for homework.
- We will do a test on the words on Friday.
- Please continue with our sight word sheets. Remember to have the Homework Helper sign the list when you know all the words.
- The word work activity focuses on our spelling words. Use the /ight/ words to fill in the missing word in each sentence. Use each of the words in the box and write a sentence for it. Make sure to add good details and begin and end your sentence the right way.
- In Math we are working on subtracting 2-digit numbers. The students have been using strategies that work best for them to help them subtract. Remember to show your work. How did you get the answer?
- Choose one book from the reading bag to read each night. Use your strategies to help with the reading and record your book on the log sheet.
K-2 Musical
- This will take place on Tuesday June 6th at 9:00AM in the Gym.
Student Appreciation Fun Day
