Hi Everyone!

Welcome Back!! Happy New Year!! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday with their family! Just a reminder to make sure that you are dressed for the weather.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Library - Our library day is on Tuesday. If you did not return your books before the holidays, please make sure you bring it in so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Reading Program -  The homework for the week is listed in the orange folder. We will be working on the Grade 2 Sight Word List this week. There is a list in the homework folder and I am also sending home a sheet to keep at home to work on throughout the year. We will continue with our spelling program next week. For word work we will be working on blends and writing sentences. In math we are working on counting in different ways and using mental math strategies to help with adding and subtracting. After being off for 2 weeks it is very important that students get back to reading each night. Please remember to record your books on the log sheet.
