Hi Everyone!

I hope you had a fun weekend!! Just a reminder to make sure you are dressed for the weather. It would be a good idea to keep an extra pair of mittens and socks in your backpacks.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Library - Our library day is on Tuesday. Make sure you bring your book back, so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Reading Program - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. We are back to our spelling words this week. The focus is on the long /a/ bossy /e/ vowel sound. The word work activity has a focus on this as well. We are working on the 6+1 Writing Traits and our focus is on using voice in writing. There is an activity on this aspect. In Math we are doing work on fact families and counting by 1s, 5s, 2s starting at 1 and 10s starting at numbers from 1 to 9. Please make sure that you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet. Remember to use the strategies we have been working on to help with your reading.

Orange Phase - Just a reminder that it is mandatory to wear masks on the bus and during the day while we are in the orange phase. Please send in 2 clean masks with your child each day if you can.

Have a great week!
