I hope you had a great weekend, and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Library - Our library day is on Tuesday. Make sure you bring your book back, so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Reading - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. We will be continuing with our spelling list from last week as we missed two days. The focus is on the long /i/ bossy /e/ vowel sound. The word work activity focusses on this as well. In writing we are working on using the voice trait in our writing. The 100th Day of School is coming up. Write about something you would love to have 100 of and something you would never want to have 100 of! Use good details and voice. In Math we are working on using the calendar to problem solve and counting in different ways and counting with money. Make sure you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet. Use your strategies to help with the reading.

Valentine's Exchange - We will be doing a Valentine's exchange on Friday February 12th. Students can bring in valentines to exchange with the class. The school will be providing a fruit and vegetable tray for each class.

Flag Day - We will be celebrating Flag Day on Friday February 12th, as there is no school on the 15th. Students and staff are asked to wear red and white or Canada clothing on this day.
