Hi Everyone!

I hope that everyone had a great weekend! Please make sure that you are dressed for the weather. It would be a good idea to keep an extra pair of socks and mittens in your bookbag.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Library - Our library day is on Wednesday, Please make sure that you bring your book back so you can get another one.

Homework/Borrow-A-Book - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. Our spelling words this week are the same list for the Spell-A-Thon. In Math we are working on adding and subtracting using our strategies and fact families. Make sure you keep working on your math facts and strategies at home. We are working on reading stories for details and to be able to tell what happens. This week we have a story to read and questions to answer. Make sure you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet. Use the strategies we have been working on to help with your reading.

Spell-A-Thon Fundraiser - Our school Spell-A-Thon kicked off on Wednesday February 1st. Students brought home the information, spelling list and pledge sheets. We will be working on the words at school and we ask that you go over them at home as well. Pledge sheets are due back on February 14th and the Spell-A-Thons will be held in each class on February 16th.
