Hi Everyone, We have started a new month! What a lot of snow we had the past week! Tomorrow is Ground Hogs Day, do you think we will have an early spring or six more weeks of winter? We are in for some very cold temperatures this week, so make sure you are dressed for the weather.   Phys. Ed Our Phys. Ed days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.     Library Our library day is on Wednesday. Make sure you bring your book back.   School Colours Day/ Spell-A-Thon Fundraiser Starts Tuesday February 3rd is School Colours Day and the kick off for our Spell-A-Thon fundraiser. All students and staff are asked to show their school spirit and wear our school colours.     Math We have been working on adding and subtracting to 18 and using strategies to help. Please keep working on these at home and going over your facts.   Homework/Borrow-A-Book Homework for the week is in the orange folders. Our spelling words this week are the words for the Spell-A-Thon. Make sure you read each night and record your book on the log sheet. Use your strategies to help with your reading skills.   Class Project With Texas We connected with our friends again on Friday. Jamie-Lynn, Dustin and Austin S., did a wonderful job as the reporters and poetry reader. Our friends were amazed to hear about all the snow we got over the last few storms. They told us that their tulips have emerged! We couldn't believe it! Our garden is covered in snow!  Have a super week! Stay warm!
