I hope you had a good weekend! Please make sure you are dressed for the weather.

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Library - Our library day is on Tuesday. Please make sure all books are returned. The cut off date before the Christmas Break is December 10th.

Homework/Reading Program - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. Our spelling words this week focus on the short /i/ and /o/ vowels sounds. The word work activity is on this as well. This week we are continuing our work on blends, as this is an area where we need more practice. In Math we are starting work on counting by 5s. We continue to work on mental math strategies and using them to help with adding and subtracting. This week we have some word problems as well. Please make sure you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet. Remember to use the strategies we have been working on to help when you are reading.

Christmas Dinner - Our Christmas Dinner is on Thursday December 10th. Please note that the ham dinner is the only meal being served that day. If students did not order the meal, they will have to bring their lunch.

Christmas Shirt Day - We will have a Christmas Shirt/Sweater Day on Thursday December 10th. Students and staff are asked to make a $2.00 donation, with all proceeds going to the Food Bank. Thank you for your support with this project.

Last Day Of Class - The last day of school before the Christmas Break will be on Friday December 18th.
