Hi Everyone!

I hope you had a fun weekend and were able to keep warm!! The temperatures are definitely colder. Please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.

Skating - We have skating on Monday December 18th - Our ice time is 10:20 - 11:05am. Students will need skates and a helmet to be on the ice. Parents and grandparents please join us at the rink.

Homework/Borrow-A-Book - This week we have reading each night for homework. It is very important for students to keep up with their reading each day over the holidays. Please make sure you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet.

Christmas Concert - Our concert for the K-2 students is on Wednesday at 9:00am. We hope to see everyone there.

Spirit Week - This week is Spirit Week at our school. Here is a list of events: Tuesday - Christmas Hat Day; Wednesday - Christmas Concert - Dress Up Day; Thursday - Christmas Sweater Day; Friday - PJ Day.

Last Day - Our last day of classes before the Christmas Break is on Friday December 22nd. Please note that this is half a day for students and there will be early dismissal at 11:30am.

Class Project With Texas - We were not able to connect with our friends last week, as we both had events going on and it is a busy time. Friday was their last day of classes, so we will do our weekly meetings in the New Year. We were happy to hear that they got our Christmas cards and ornaments that we made the. We also sent our shared writing about our Christmas Traditions.

I would like to wish all my students and their families a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a healthy and happy 2018! Check back in the New Year!!
