Hi Everyone,  Welcome Back! I hope you enjoyed your extra long weekend and had a fun and relaxing Easter holiday with your family. We are learning about different strategies and using our own strategies. It is important that students know their doubles and facts that make 10. Keep working on these at home.    School Clothing Orders  If you would like to order school clothing, you can do so at the school on Wednesday April 23rd. Orders have to be paid for on the same day.      School Credit Union  Scholl Credit Union day is on Thursday April 24th.    Borrow-A-Book/ Reading Comprehension  Please make sure that you are reading each night. Use the startegies that we have been working on to help with your reading. Remember to record you book on the log sheet. When you are doing the reading comprehension stories, remember to read the whole story. The answers are in the story. Go back and reread and underline the answer, read carefully.    Library   Our library day is on Friday. Bring back your book so you can get another one.    Tulip Garden  After a long, cold winter, we have one tulip that has emerged! There was 85cm of snow on the garden on April 4th. We hope more will come up.    Happy Earth Day  We are learning about ways to take care of the environment and look after planet Earth. Today we made bird feeders with our Grade 6 buddies using recycled materials.           Have a great week!
