Good Morning Everyone, I hope you enjoyed your weekend! We are finally having some warmer temperatures and the snow is starting to melt. Please note, that there is still a lot of snow on the playground, so make sure you are dressed for the weather.    Phys. Ed Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.    Library Our library day is on Wednesday. Please bring your book back so you can get out another one.   Math We are finishing up our unit on Measurement. This week we are going to start working on adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers. Students can keep working on their strategies and facts at home.   Homework/Borrow-A-Book Our homework for the week is listed in the blue folders. The spelling words this week focus on base words and word endings. It is important that students continue to read each night and record their books on the log sheet.  Class Project With Texas We had a great meeting with our friends last week! Ally, Dustin and Alyssa did a wonderful job as the reporters and poetry reader. We found out that our weather has been quite a bit different. They were shocked to hear about our snow storm at Easter and that some people were still snowshoeing and ski-dooing. They had a high temperature of 32C and the students there had ball games, soccer games and were swimming in outdoor pools! They have their caterpillars and they are already in their chrysalis. This year they are doing a new study on silk worms and they showed them to us. They are going to keep us updated on what happens. We can't get our caterpillars unitl May, because it is not warm enough yet. We are finishing up our letters to them and are sending them out on Tuesday.  Have a fabulous week!
