Good Wednesday morning, everyone! It is January 19th. January is flying by – only 12 days left in the month. We have a bit more snow now, so maybe you’ll be able to get outside and have some fun. I’d love to have some outdoor pictures for our teacher page. Please send along any you have!!

The following work is for today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday). A reminder that our Teams meeting has been changed to 1:00 pm.

 

MATH WORKSHOP

Warm Up:

  1. Coin Riddle:

You have two coins.

The total value is 30 cents.

One of them is NOT a nickel.

What are the two coins?

 

     2. Money riddle:

The total cost of a pair of shoes and a hoodie is $150.

The hoodie costs $100 more than the pair of shoes does.

How much does each item cost?

 

Complete the following:

  1. Tech – Boom Cards and/or DreamBox
  2. Math sheets – B021 and B023
  3. Play a game from your packet and/or any card/board game you own

 Read for 20 minutes each day.

  1. Read THE AMAZINGLY ADAPTED POLAR BEAR or LOST IN THE FOG (whichever one you have in your packet) and complete the attached questions. Print neatly and use a pencil.
