Welcome back. I hope everyone had a fun weekend and are excited to be back at school.

This week in Kindergarten, I am sending home information about the Zoo-phonics program which we use to help reinforce  letter identification\sound. We will be reviewing the program daily in class and ask that students review actions and sounds for each letter every night at home. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact me at school, 627-4074.

We have been reviewing safety rules for; the classroom, playground, cafeteria, gym, school bus. A copy of the "I Care Rules and the provincial Dino School Bus Safety rules will be sent home this week, it would be appreciated if you could review these rules with your child. A copy of each will also be put on this web page. Thanks.

Phys. Ed. Class-Our gym classes are every Tuesday-Friday. The students do not change into gym clothes, however, it is beneficial if they wear comfortable clothing on these days.

Library-We will have our first Library class this Tuesday. All students will beable to sign out a book they choose from the school library. Our librarian, Mrs. Gallan, has spoken to the students about the importance of taking good care of their borrowed book. Please return the book in the bag it arrives in. Do not eat or drink when reading your book and do not mark in your book. Students may keep the book for 1 week to read. The book must be returned the following Tuesday so your child can sign out a new book.

School picture orders are due Wednesday, September 18th. Re-takes will be taken next month.

Meet the Teacher will be held this Thursday, September 19th at 5:00pm. I look forward to seeing you.

Student Fees- Just a reminder that the $25 fee for student school supplies and the $10 agenda fee are due. Thank you to those who have already paid.

Have a great week in Kindergarten. Smile and have fun!!!
