Hello everyone. I hope that you had a fun weekend with your family. We have a busy week in Kindergarten. This week for homework please read each night and sign your name on the reading log.Review your Zoo-phonics actions, letters and sounds. We have focused on letters a-g so far in class and will work on the letters h and i this week. Your goal is to identify the action, letter name and the initial letter sound for all of these letters. In your homework book you have 4 pages this week to complete. Three printing pages-trace and make, and one math page. Remember to use a pencil to do your work. Your book is due on Friday. This week our Phys. Ed classes are on Monday and Thursday. You will be running and playing in the gym so please wear comfortable clothing. Our school Remembrance Day ceremony will be Tuesday Nov. 10th at 10:00 am. Parents are welcome to join us as we celebrate our Veterans and show our respect and thanks for the service. Students are asked to bring in a poppy donation for their poppy. Book orders are due on Tuesday Nov. 10th. There will be no school on Remembrance Day, Wednesday Nov. 11th as we take time to honour and remember our brave men and women who fought so selflessly to protect our beautiful country. We have been discussing in class the importance of Rememberance Day and why we should wear a poppy and be thankful to all those who fought for our freedom. Please share with your child your feelings about Remembrance Day.
