Hi, everyone and welcome back to school. On Remembrance Day, we honour those brave soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we may live in our peaceful country, Canada. For our tomorrows they gave their today. Let us never forget.

The Credit Union will be at school on Tuesday Nov. 12 for the students who wish to make a deposit.

Library- We have library every Tuesday. Students must return their book in order to sign out a new one. Keep the book for the week.

Cookie Dough orders and money are due this week by Wednesday Nov. 13th.

Hospital tour- Our Kindergarten class will be taking a tour of our hospital on Wednesday Nov. 13th, 9-11:00am. Please sign and return the permission slip to class. Thanks.

National Jersey Day is Thursday Nov. 14th. Wear the jersey for your favourite sports team.

We have Gym class every Tuesday- Friday. Wear comfortable clothes to run and exercise in.

Read your borrow-a-book and review the Zoo-phonics letters\sounds and actions each night. Some students are taking home sight word sheets to learn. Once your child knows these words without hesitation, sign the sheet and return to class. I will check their knowledge and send home the next word sheet.

In Math, we will be learning about more, fewer and equal, when comparing groups of objects. Play math games at home, take turns rolling a dice, use lego pieces, pet shop toys, cars etc as counters. Make a group of objects for the number you rolled. Have your child tell you who has, more, fewer or equal objects.

Now that we have had our first snowfall, please dress for the weather. Wear boots, hats, mittens\gloves, warmer coat and snow pants and pack an extra change of clothes.

School Clothing- a flyer is available at the office if you would like to place an order. Christmas orders must be paid in full by Nov. 15th.

Have a fun week in Kindergarten. Smile and be kind to each other.
