Welcome back to school. I hope you enjoyed your long weekend.

This is a short but, busy week. Please read your book each night and practice your letters\sounds and sight words.

Library-Every Tuesday we go to the library. Please bring back your book so you will be able to sign out a new one.

Phys. Ed- we have gym classes every Tuesday to Friday, please dress in comfortable clothing.

Bell Let's Talk Day is Wednesday, January 29th. Please wear blue today as we bring awareness to this worthwhile mental health cause.

On Wednesday students will be bringing home a groundhog graph sheet. Students will be asking family members "will the groundhog see it's shadow on February 2nd, yes or no"? Please return the sheet to school by Friday Jan. 31st.

Spell-a-thon Kick Off- On Thursday January 30th, our annual school spell-a-thon begins. Please wear burgundy and gold to show your school spirit. This is our major school fundraiser for the year. An information packet will go home with students today and they can begin collecting pledges and studying for their spelling words.

Skating- We go skating on Tuesday, Feburary 4th at the Civic Center 8:45 am. Everyone is welcome to come out and skate with your child.

Have a great week at school. Be sure to wear hats, warm mittens\gloves etc. as we will be going outside during our lunch hour, weather permitting.
