Hi there! I hope everyone enjoyed their last weekend of summer. We have been having fun in Kindergarten. The children are getting to know each other better and have been building wonderful relationships as we work, play, share and cooperate in class. I am very pleased with how well the students are learning our daily class routines, they are having fun and enjoying their time together, which is wonderful to see.

Zoo-phonics- We have been practicing the Zoo-phonics actions,letters\sounds in class. This information was sent home today. Please review the alphabet chart throughout the week with your child.

Library-On Tuesdays we will be going to the library to borrow a book. Students will bring this book home and can keep it for the week. Library books go home in a ziplock bag and should be returned to school in this bag every Tuesday. Books must be returned in order for students to sign out a new book.

Phys. Ed - We have gym class every Wednesday-Friday. K-2 students do not change clothes for gym so please wear comfortable clothes to run and play in.

Cafeteria- If your child is ordering lunch, please fill out the menu sheet or write their order on a piece of paper and put it and the money in their agenda.Orders need to be sent to the cafeteria each morning. If your child is getting a drink or treat please indicate this on a piece of paper with your child’s name and put in a bag with the money. This will avoid confusion for the cafeteria staff and your child. Thanks.

We have been learning about ways to stay safe at school,on the playground and bus.We have practiced a school fire drill and will do bus evacuation this week. Please discuss the importance of safety and following the rules at school and on the bus with your child. Thank you.

Mask- students have been doing a good job with taking care of and wearing their mask.Students should have 2 clean mask at schools. Mask go home daily and should be washed often. When sending mask with your child please put them in a baggie or container with your childs name on it. I have one green camouflage mask on my desk that no one has claimed. If your child is missing a mask, please contact me at school.

Water Bottles- please send a water bottle to school each day with your child. We will do our best to send them back home each night to be washed. Due to COVID19 the water fountains are turned off but, students can refill water bottles.
