Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you had a wonderful celebration with family and friends. This is what is happening in Kindergarten this week:

Literacy- Read your Borrow-A-Books each night. This week read the ABC Letter Tracing Book and the Letter Aa book. With your finger, trace each letter by following the arrows. Say each letter name, letter sound and animal name.ex.Aa alligator. This will be great practice for proper letter formation and also for reviewing our Zoo-phonics language program. Students read the Letter Aa book. Have students point to each word ,ex. "Look at the alligator.", and stop at the period.Use the picture for cues to help identify the word. ex. the picture could be an alligator or crocodile, look at the word and say the beginning letter sound, for alligator. Please fill in the reading log each night and have your child print their name. Return your borrow-a-book bag back to class on Friday.

Library- We go to the library on Thursday. Please return your book to school in the library bag so you will be able to sign out a new book. Thanks and happy reading.

Phys. Ed. Classes are every Tuesday,Thursday and Friday.Be sure to wear comfy clothes.

Fire Pervention Safety Week. This is Fire Prevention Safety Week, students will be taking home a booklet on fire safety, please read and practice 2 ways to get out of your home safely, identify your family meeting place and check your smoke detectors to ensure the battery is working. We have been practicing fire drills at school and this week the Fire Fighters will be at school to do a presentation.

Remember to pack your water bottle.

Can't wait to see all of my little Kinders! Smile and be kind to each other!!! :)
