Hi everyone, Happy Monday!! Here's what's going on this week in Kindergarten!

Borrow-A-Book- This week, students will read the "My ABC letter tracing book", please note any letters your child may be having trouble recognizing, forming or identifying letter sounds and continue to focus on these letters. We are reviewing letters\sounds daily in class.Students also have 2 other books to read. The "Letter C book" and "Pete the Cat". Be sure to have your child point to each word as they read, look at the pictures, as well as the beginning letter sound, to help figure out an unknown word. Please read the books each night and fill in the reading log, have students print their own name.Return your borrow-a-books to class on Friday.

Library- We go to the library on Tuesday. Please return your book in the library bag, so you will be able to sign out a new book. Students keep this book home for the week. Thanks!!

Phys.Ed.Classes are every Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday. As long as the weather is nice, students will be going outside for gym class with Mrs.Comeau. Please dress for the weather and wear your sneakers on gym days.

Squiggle Park- Today, Monday Oct.18th, I will be sending home an information letter for Squiggle Park. This is an educational  literacy game developed in NS, that focuses on helping children learn letters\sounds, words, and reading through fun activities and games. Each child has their own code and their is a class code. All the details are in your childs introduction letter. Take some time throughout the week and explore. The children had a lot of fun exploring the game, today.Should we switch to online learning, we will continue to use this site. Your childs code is taped to the inside of their agenda, as well as on the letter.I will also be adding the information letter in documents on our classroom page.
