Homework- This week for homework, please read your book "The Snowman". The book focuses on the sight words for, here, my, is, the. Use the picture and sound out the letters to figure out the unknown word. The book is in the front sleeve of the home work book. Be sure to read each night and sign the reading log when you read. Review the sight words-sheet 1-students need to know these words quickly without hesitation. Once they do parents sign the form and return to class. I will test them on the words and send sheet 2 if they are ready. We will review these words daily in class with our literacy activities. Remember every child learns at their own pace. In Math, play the dice game Snowball Fight. You will need different type of counters for each player, roll the dice and add the number of conters on the board. The player with the most counters on the board wins. You can also play by subtracting counters from a full board. Each player places equal amounts of counters on the board. Take turns rolling the die, remove that many of your counters from the board. The first person to remove all their counters first wins. Please return the homework book on Friday. Thanks!

Please bring your water bottle, everyday.

Have an awesome week at school, everyone! Be kind to each other.
