Hi there and Happy February! The month started off with a lot of snow. The groundhogs didn't see their shadow but, you wouldnt believe that with all of this snow. I hope got out to play in the snow and have fun. Dress warm for the weather and be sure to pack and extra pair of mittens\gloves and socks We are in for a very busy month ahead. We are closing in on the 100th day of school, so we will be busy doing activities for this.Stay tuned for a memo regarding 100th day celebration.

Phys.Ed-We have phys.ed classes everyday except Thursday. Come dressed in comfy clothes.

Library- We visit the library every Thursday. Students must return their book in order to sign out a new book.

Homework- This week review your sight words each night. Students need to know these words quickly without hesitation. Once they do, parents sign the sheet and return to class. I will test steudents on the words and send the next sight word list,if they are ready. We are reviewing these words daily in class with our literacy activities. Remember every child learns at their own pace. In Math, review your math facts sheet.

School Fundraiser  Our Math-Action Fundraiser has offically begun. Please study the math facts with your child to prepare them for our test on Tuesday, February 20th, students will then be engaged in a full-day of Math and Physical Activity. All pledge money must be returned by Thursday, February 29th.Students are asked to collect pledges\donations from family and friends, until Feb 15th. K-2 students are not to go door to door to collect pleadges, so we encourage you to contact family and friends. This is our only major school fundraiser, all funds go back to our students to help pay for school activities and events throughout the year. There are many prizes available for students to have a chance to win and some incentives from each team level. We thank you for your support! GO RAIDERS

Please bring your water bottle, everyday.

Let's have a super fun week in class. Smile and be kind to each other!
