Hello, Kinders! Did you have a fun long weekend with your family and friends?

Homework this week:1.Read your borrow-a-books-  You have two levelled books and a student book called "We Can Help Our Planet Earth".Read one book each night. Point to each word as you read. Look at the beginning letter of each unknown word, sound out letters to help identify the word. Use the pictures to help solve the word.Print your name on the reading log and return your books on Friday. 

2.Rockstar Sight Words- Review your sight words throughout the week.If you can say each word quickly,have a parent sign the sheet and return it to class.I will check your words and give you the next list if you are ready.Also this week, practice printing the words from list 1-3. Keep up the great work, Kinders! 

3.Complete the page in your homework duotang- In celebration of Earth Day. April 22nd go out and explore nature.Go on a nature walk with your family and see how things you can find on the sheet.Have fun and enjoy this time together!                    

Library- We will go to the library on Tuesday. Please return your book so you may sign out a new book for the week.

Phys.Ed.Class-We have gym classes on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday this week. 

Happy Earth Day-We will be celebrating Earth day on Thursday, April 22nd.Please wear blue & green and bring a litterless lunch. Let's help take care of the Earth!                                               

Remember to bring your water bottle and 2 extra mask to school.
