The grade 2s and 2Y classes from Nelson Rural School were recently named as Top Ten Finalists in the CBC Music Competition with their rendition of a song by Ginalina-"Small But Mighty".  Results were released on CBC radio on December 15^th. Our grade 2 classes finished in 2^nd place out of 95 school entries across the country. We are so proud of this achievement. Our young students love to sing and were inspired with the environmental theme this song presents for listeners.  Our grade 2 classes are small but mighty and just might change our world for the better!  Here is the link to their video.
