- The student fee cost is $30 per student, or $40 if paying for the family/siblings. This can be handed in to me at school as soon as possible.

- A pink memo slip went home today. This is to be signed and returned to school as soon as possible.

- Unfortunately we did not make it to Fletcher's Farm today due to the unpredictability of the weather this afternoon. We will reschedule the field trip to a later date, potentially October 5th.

- Picture day at school is tomorrow!
- Tomorrow we are hoping to be going to Fletcher's Farm for the afternoon. Each student is asked to bring in $3 to cover the cost. Students can bring in a change of clothes for the farm if they want to and should wear footwear that can get muddy. If the weather does not cooperate and it is too rainy to go to the farm, we will reschedule the field trip to a later date.

I am happy to be back at school and to see all the students again. I am looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year, I think it will be a great one! This page will be used regularly as a way to communicate important information, updates, reminders, and any homework tasks to 8M families. I would encourage parents and students to check this page daily to stay best informed.

Field trip to Beaubears Island tomorrow (fingers crossed that we make it to the island this time).
No cost at all for the students. Make sure to dress for the warm weather. Don't forget sunscreen, bug spray, water, a packed lunch, and a bathing suit and towel if you want to swim. It will be lots of fun!!! :D
