The K-2 classes celebrated the 100th Day of School on Monday March 11th! We had lots of fun working on different activities related to the number 100. We worked together to collect 100 items for the Food Bank and when we counted them all up, we had 136 items! In the gym we did 100 exercises and sat quiet for 100 seconds. We also made the number 100 using all the K-2 students. Each student brought in a collection of 100 things and we went to each class to see all the collections. They were awesome! Together we made a quilt about 100 Reasons Why We Love Our School! It is on the wall outside the Kindergarten classes. Mrs. Maloney did a video of each class telling their reasons of why they love Nelson Rural. You can watch them on the website. Happy 100th Day!
