Congratulations to the Gr. 4W-4T and 4-5W classes on being named as top ten finalists in the CBC music contest. Our video submission of "Like a Flower to the Sun" was recognized by a panel of celebrity judges who viewed submissions from schools across the country. We are so proud of them. There is only one first place winner for the elementary vocal category and competition is pretty high level for the finals. Our students are already winners for participating in the contest. Making the top ten is icing on the cake. First place winners receive $3000.00 to purchase new instruments.  Winners will be announced on Tuesday morning on CBC radio.  Please note-our middle school video submission did not make the final ten in the junior vocal category. We are however equally proud of them for putting in the hours of rehearsal necessary for participation in this event.
