Several of our classes recently recorded videos performing music by Canadian artists/composers as our entry in this year’s CBC Music Class Challenge. We submitted the best videos from these recording sessions. All three of our groups received a nod as Top Ten Finalists in their respective category: This is quite an honor as we were competing against over 100 schools across the country. Bravo to Nelson Rural students for your effort and participation. Primary Vocal- Grade 2S and 2Y, Elementary Vocal- Grades 3-4W, 4-5 V with guests from grades 5D and/or 5W and Junior Vocal- with grades 6-7M, 7H and 7/8 M. Below are the links for each performance. Next week one winner from each category will be named. The lucky groups will receive $3000.00 in new musical instruments. Good luck to our groups.
