Happy Monday everyone!
Here is the homework for the week:
- Sound of the week: Play the sound of the week song so students can sing along and do the action. This week the sound is "i" I will be sending a sheet home with the sound words on it so they can read the words as well.
- Alphabet: Students are to trace the letters of the alphabet on the sheet and fill in the missing letters. I have attached some songs they can listen to, to help them with their pronunciation.
All homework is due back on Fridays. Some work may be sent home if not completed in class (Coloring can take some time)
* I put their reading logs in their home folders already, however I will be starting to send books home next week. For this week, I will be uploading their sound book, or sending a physical copy home with them to begin to read. Parents can print the book in the reading log, students can color a thumbs up down or sideways depending if they found it easy, ok, or hard. Students are also asked to colour a leaf for every book they read. If they read one book 3 times, they can colour three leaves.
