It's been a busy couple of weeks, settling in to our class and getting to know each other.  We have 25 students, our EA, Sarah Sullivan, and our student teacher, Abby Sullivan!  

Academically, we are focusing on:

Math: comparing and ordering numbers to 10000, and basic multiplication.  We have also worked on number sense and estimating with our dialy "warm-up" activities. At home, students can be practicing skip counting and reading large numbers.

L.A.: We are working on sentence structure and organization in writing. Our Guided Reading groups will start on Monday. Students should be reading every night.

We are trying to spend as much time outside as possible, where we have completed some fun STEAM activities.
