Good morning! Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great Thursday.
Here is what I would like all of you to work on today:
Writing:Write about your favourite book and explain why it is your favourite: (Make a list of books you have read this school year. Then circle your favourite book and explain why it was so good. What was the best part?
*If you prefer to send it to me in an email, please send it to abby.sullivan@nbed.nb.ca. I enjoy reading them throughout the day! If not, remember to keep your writing pieces together and bring them with you when we go back to school.
Reading:Please read a book of your choice for 20 minutes. If you prefer to listen to read aloud(s) on Tumblebooks here is the login information. (tumblebooklibrary.com) Username: nblib Password: nbschools
*Remember to keep track of the books you are reading in your log.
Math:Warm up- choose two of the riddles to solve and determine what the mystery number is. Remember to break the problem down solving one step at a time.
*When you complete the riddles, please email me for confirmation of the answers.
1) I am between 900 & 1000. I am more than 549 + 421. I am less than 684 + 296. The sum of all three of my digits are 18. Who am I?
2) If you multiply this number by any other number, the answer will always be the same. What number is this? *Hint: think of our multiplication rules… which number is always the hero?
3) I am a multiple of 5. I am three times as much as 4+1. Who am I?
Addition worksheet: Please work on the addition math sheet in your ‘Home Learning’ packet. Remember to bring this back to school with you when we go back.
Art: Check out (www.artforkidshub.com) if you wish to draw. This site walks you through a step-by-step process of drawing almost anything you can imagine!
Be sure to look at all previous daily work for the week if you were not able to complete all activities. There are several different ideas for some outdoor fun! Be sure to check them out!
Have a fantastic weekend grade four! Have fun and take care of yourself!
