Good morning! I hope everyone had a fun weekend and I also hope you were able to enjoy trick or treating! 

Here is what I would love for you to be working on today: 

Writing:   My Favorite Part of Halloween Is:  (Write a paragraph telling what you love about Halloween and why. If possible, write your story on your device and email it to me at  angela.woods@nbed.nb.ca.   

If someone at home has a picture of you in your Halloween costume, perhaps could post it on our class Facebook page. I'd love to see all of you! 

If you cannot email your piece of writing, maybe you could find a notebook and keep a daily journal of all your writingWhen we get back to school, you can bring your notebook and I will check out your writing! *You could also add illustrations  

Reading: 

Log onto Tumblebooks.com  (username nblib      password nbschools) 

Listen to the story Frank Was A Monster Who Wanted To Dance.  When you have finished listening to the story, take the quiz.  

Spend at least 20 minutes reading a book of your choice (one you have at home, or one on Tumblebooks, or on this app:   

https://soraapp.com .  When asked to search for school type in New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood. Then hit the drop-down arrow and choose Student Sign in. 

Please user your nbss/username and password to sign in. This info should be in your Home Learning folder which was sent home a few weeks agoIf you cannot find it, contact me and I will make sure you get it.  

 

Math: 

You have some review sheets in your Home Learning packet. Today, I would like you to work on the Ordering Numbers sheets. You can bring them to school when we go back. 

You can also log in to your Dreambox accountContact me if you do not have your login info. 

Multiplication: 

  • Warm up: Practice counting    by 2’s to 100, by 3’s to 36, by 5’s to 100 

 

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Be sure to get outside for some fresh air and exercise!!  GO for a walk, explore your yard, play with a friend or sibling, climb a tree!
