Our class has been visiting the Veterans Canada link to learn about how animals helped out during the wars.  They were excited to hear how pigeons, bears, mice, dogs, cats and more worked to help the soldiers.  Some acted as companions, while others carried messages and supplies or were used to warn of poisonous gases in tunnels.  Check out the different topics at the top of the page to read all about it.
