7H-7M and 8H-8M Language Arts 1. Students are expected to be reading each night from a novel/book of their choice.     They each have a reading range within which they choose their own books      Most books in our reading library (classroom and library) have an AR test. BOOKS from the Scholastic orders, and young teen sections of bookstores are also included in the AR testing. Students know how to check for these. Also, students who are reading books for which there is not an AR test, just need to have my initials on their "Reading Log" sheet.   2. The reading challenge for April to June 15th is 6 books! They are reading, or have just completed one; the class novel counts as as one; and 4 others at their level. It can be done!   8H-8M Social Studies 1. (8M) Test Monday (19th) 2. Both classes have an assignment, read pp.80-81     Answer question on "change" from board.   7M Social Studies 1. pp.50-53 Complete the 4 questions on the sheet (in notebook)
