We will be finally starting Fast ForWord on Tuesday, Oct 12th, 2010.  I know that all of our students will be very happy over this great news!  Fast ForWord is software that our Nelson students are lucky to have at their school.  Since Nelson Rural is one of four schools that was chosen to be a site school for Scientific Learning Company who made all the wonderful programs all of our students in the school are able to have access and not just only the grade two classes.  The Fast ForWord program develops and strengthens memory, attention, processing rate, and sequencing—the cognitive skills essential for reading intervention program success. All students benefit from playing these fun games.
