Complete questions 3 & 4 page 80 involving division of integers.   NOTE: Quiz this Friday Sept. 24th on first three lessons. (Mid-Term Quiz).

Grade 7M: Complete practice questions on "Adding Integers Using Number Lines" page 64. Students will begin mid unit review questions on page 65. Grade 8M and 8H: Complete questions 11 and 18 pages 74-75. Students have begun the next lesson on "Using Models To Divide Integers". NOTE: Mr. Henderson has collected worksheets and they have been corrected. Students must make corrections, have the worksheet signed by a parent and returned to me by this Thursday September 23rd. If the sheet is not returned on time the student will receive a zero! Mr. Henderson

Students are to complete questions 14 to 20 on page 69 of the textbook.  We will begin lesson 2.2 "Developing Rules to Multiply Integers" tomorrow.  Keep up the great work!!   Note:    Each student received a mental math strategy booklet outlining the various ways to answer equations quickly.  Parents are asked to take the time to review these strategies throughout the year.

7 M are to complete questions 1,2,4,5,6,7 from the textbook page 54 and 55. 8H & 8M are to complete questions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 from the textbook page 68.  Most students are well on their way or finished of the questions.   NOTE: Mr. Henderson will be handing out a Mental Math booklet outlining the various strategies required for students in grades 7 and 8.  Parents are asked to take time throughout the year and review the various strategies with their child.  Mental Math will be practiced each day at the beginning of class.(10min.)   There is also a copy of the strategies located in the docs section for download...
