Hi Everyone!

• I hope you had a good weekend!
• Please make sure you are dressed for the weather. The mornings are getting chilly, so it would be a good idea to pack mittens/gloves and a hat and wear a coat.
• Please check back here each week to find out what is happening with our class.

Phys. Ed

• Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Library

• Our library day is on Wednesday.
• Make sure you bring your book back so you can sign out another one.

Homework/Reading

• The homework for the week is listed in the orange homework books.
• Work on your words. Remember to use the sounds you know to help.
• Once you know all the words, have someone at home sign the sheet.
• Choose a book from the reading bag to read each night. Remember to sign the log sheet each time you read. Make sure you use your strategies to help with your reading.
• For our spelling words this week, the focus is on the short /e/ vowel sound. Practice spelling out loud and putting the words down on paper. Listen for the sounds you hear. We will have a test on the words on Thursday.

Water Bottles

• Just a reminder to bring a water bottle that you can refill and use during the day. 

Cafeteria

• Our cafeteria is now open.
• A menu went home, and you can access online as well.
• You can place and pay for orders online, or students can place their orders in class in the morning.
• If their order was placed on-line, can you please put a not to say online order.

Remembrance Day Service

• Our school Remembrance Day Service will be on Thursday November 7^th at 10:00AM.
• Please send in a poppy donation if you can.

No School

• Please take note of the following dates in November that the students do not have school.
• Friday November 8^th – No School – PLD for teachers
• Monday November 11^th – No School – Remembrance Day
• Friday November 15^th – No School – PLD for teachers
• Friday November 29^th – No School – Parent Teacher/PLD for teachers
