Hi Everyone!

Welcome back! I hope that you had a fun and restful March Break!

Phys. Ed - Our Phys. Ed days this week are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Library - Library day is on Friday. Please bring your book back so you can get another one.

Homework - The homework for the week is listed in the orange folders. It is a review week for spelling, so there are 12 words. We are starting a new unit in Math on Measurement. We will be starting with using a calendar; days of the week and months of the year. Other activities include work on reading; the main idea and answering questions from a story. Please make sure that you read your book each night and record it on the log sheet.

St. Patrick's Day - St. Patrick's Day is on Thursday March 17th. Wear something green if you have it.

Class Project With Texas - We did meet with our friends in Ms. Sands class before the break. Mya, Ryan and Alexis did a super job as the class and weather reporters and poetry reader. Our friends told us that flowers are in bloom and the leaves are starting to grow on the trees down there. A lot of students even had their shorts and t-shirts on. They are off this week on their March Break.

Math - We are starting a new unit on Measurement. We will be doing work with using a calendar, days of the week and months of the year. As well we will work on measuring with non-standard units. It is still important for students to keep working on their math facts and strategies at home.

Scholastic Book Orders - If you would like to order a book from the March Book Club, please have your order in by Friday.

Have a fabulous week everyone!!
